Summa’s past experience in construction and implementation of Wastewater Treatment Plant SCADA Systems and working with vendor package systems, in addition to our expertise in programming, instrumentation, documentation, and commissioning allowed for the successful completion of this project.

Background

The Sudbury Biosolids was a design build and operate project to add an N-Viro Biosolids system to the Sudbury WWTP. The system included a biosolid system, polymer system, centrifuge, sludge conveyors, related instrumentation. SCADA requirements include PLC panels, network panels, server rack, workstations, HMI software, PLC and SCADA programming, and integration of the vendor packages and plant system.

Scope of Work

The goal was to deliver the project on schedule and on budget to meet and exceed the expectations of the project.

Summa was responsible for supplying and commissioning the instrumentation, PLC panels, SCADA hardware, and software. PLC and SCADA programming, testing and commissioning was provided. Co-ordination and integration of the package systems and plant SCADA integration was provided.
